The Role

This Senior Corporate Accountant will undertake the preparation and maintenance of the Company’s consolidated general ledger and financial statements. This position must utilize hands-on accounting experience and have an in depth understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards. This position will also provide the opportunity for independent initiative and judgment to improve accounting processes, procedures, financial reporting and growth in corporate accounting environment.  Experience in consolidation, working with multiple entities and fund accounting are required.


  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries and workpapers by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Prepare on a quarterly basis the financial reporting templates and supporting schedules
  • Provide flux and variance analysis of consolidated balance sheet and income statement
  • Maintenance of spreadsheets to support financial transactions and analysis of various expenses
  • Assist in preparation of audit work papers for year-end audits with outside auditors.
  • Participate in the annual budget process for the Company and interim forecasting
  • Perform and support ad-hoc reporting including G&A, commissions, internal and external reports, graphs, charts and presentations.
  • Organize and maintain Finance and Treasury data collection, reporting and communication.
  • Support cost-savings and process improvement initiatives

Experience and Skills:

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy and ability to make effective decisions and solve problems
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to collaborate across many levels
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel and Word. Advanced knowledge in Excel understanding concepts of databases, filtering data, use of mathematical, logical, statistical and financial functions a plusJDE experience a plus
